Getting started

Install

Download Dog Meet Dog from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Create your account

1. Open the app and tap Sign Up.
2. Enter your email or phone number and verify.
3. Set your display name and location.

Add your dog

Every profile needs at least one dog. Tap Add Dog and fill in:

• Name — your dog's name
• Breed — select from the list or choose "Mixed / Unknown"
• Size — small, medium, large, or giant
• Age — puppy, young, adult, or senior
• Photos — at least one clear photo of your dog
• Personality — pick tags like energetic, shy, friendly, protective

You can add multiple dogs. Each dog appears on your profile and in match results.

Set your preferences

Tell the app what you are looking for:

• Casual outings — park meetups, group walks, playdates
• Romantic connections — dates that start with a dog walk
• Both — keep your options open

Set your distance radius (1–100 miles) and any dog-size preferences.

Find your first match

Tap Discover to browse nearby profiles. Swipe right to like, left to pass. When two owners like each other, it is a match — start chatting and plan your first outing.
